Today, members of Movement Kalki met with the revered Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Govindanand Saraswati of Uttaramnaya Badri Jyotirmath Seva Samiti. During this meeting, Swami Govindanand Saraswati shared his thoughts on social reform, the protection of cows, and the elimination of social evils.
Swami Ji advised society to be vigilant against fraudulent and pretentious individuals posing as saints. He emphasized the importance of identifying true saints to eradicate hypocrisy and pretense from society. Furthermore, he highlighted the need for a strict law to protect cows and urged people to actively engage in building shelters for cows (gaushalas). Swami Ji mentioned that this issue is of great significance, and mere politics cannot provide a solution. He appealed to all aware citizens to come forward for the preservation and service of cows.
Swami Govindanand Saraswati also spoke about the past injustices faced by saints, mentioning that during former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s tenure, several saints faced oppression, with many even losing their lives. He recalled that at that time, too, there was a strong demand to designate cows as the ‘National Mother’ and to implement stringent laws for their protection.
On this occasion, Movement Kalki’s founder, Mr. Deepak Singh, shared the organization’s objectives. He stated, “Movement Kalki is an organization dedicated to ending social evils and fostering unity within society. Our main goal is to restore religious values and raise awareness.” He clarified that the movement is driven by the voluntary involvement of its members without any political or external influence. Swami Ji praised Deepak Singh’s views and extended his full support to the organization.
Swami Govindanand Saraswati appreciated the mission of Movement Kalki, emphasizing that its work should be carried out with independence and selflessness. He encouraged Movement Kalki members to advance this movement freely and gave them his blessings.
Through this meeting, Movement Kalki has further strengthened its commitment to social reform, cow protection, and religious renaissance. Members of Movement Kalki are dedicated to serving society and will make every effort to advance these causes. Present at this gathering from Movement Kalki were Deepak Singh, along with members Rohit Bajrangi, Deepak Sharma, and Ricky Trathia.
