'Movement Kalki Delegation Meets Deputy Chief Minister Surendra Chaudhary, Submits Memorandum for Cow Protection and Establishment of a Sanatan Board'

On the 58th day of the Movement Kalki's protest, a delegation from the organization met with the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Surendra Chaudhary, and submitted a memorandum demanding the declaration of Cow as "National Mother", the enactment of a Cow Protection Law, and the establishment of a "Sanatan Board" for the management of Jammu & Kashmir's temples.

Members of the Delegation:
The delegation included Thakur Karnail Chand, Pritam Sharma, Monika Sharma, Anuradha, and Shri Jaspal Sharma. The Deputy Chief Minister attentively listened to their demands and assured the delegation that appropriate actions would be taken soon.

Key Demands and Issues:

1. Declaration of Cow as "National Mother"
The delegation strongly urged that Cow be declared the "National Mother" and a stringent Cow Protection Law be enacted.

2. Formation of a Sanatan Board
The delegation proposed the establishment of a fair and transparent "Sanatan Board" to oversee the management of all ancient temples in Jammu & Kashmir.

3. Investigation into Temple Properties
The delegation demanded that the status of temple properties since 1947 be investigated to ensure that these properties have been properly utilized.

4. Re-establishment of the Cow Shed at Shri Raghunath Temple
The delegation requested the re-establishment of the old cow shed at Shri Raghunath Temple, which had been shut down previously.

5. Economic and Social Impact
The delegation emphasized that the formation of the Sanatan Board would boost religious tourism, strengthen the economy of Jammu & Kashmir, and create employment opportunities for educated unemployed youth.

Misuse of Temple Properties
The delegation raised concerns that some private individuals were misusing the temple properties and donations for personal gain. They called for ensuring that the temple funds are used for religious and service-oriented purposes, not for personal benefit.

Re-establishing Sanatan Dharma
The delegation argued that, like the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, a similar board should be established for Jammu & Kashmir’s ancient temples to ensure their proper upkeep and promote religious values.

Assurance from Deputy Chief Minister
The Deputy Chief Minister assured the delegation that their demands would be carefully considered and appropriate steps would be taken.

This struggle by Movement Kalki is a crucial step in strengthening the faith of the public and protecting Sanatan Dharma. The organization has pledged to continue the protest until their demands are met.
