'BSF foils Pakistan's infiltration bid along the International Border'

The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid along the International Border of Jammu in the early hours of Saturday. During this, the infiltrator of Pakistan was caught. He is under interrogation.

Officials said that the BSF personnel nabbed Mohammad Shabad (45), a resident of Sialkot, while infiltrating into Arnia sector from the Pakistan border. The alert soldiers first warned him and later opened fire. No objectionable material has been found from him.

It is noteworthy that on August 25, the BSF foiled a major smuggling attempt when its troops confiscated eight kg of suspected heroin injuring a Pakistani infiltrator along the International Border in Samba district. However, despite being injured during this, the infiltrator managed to enter back into the Pakistan border.
