There is no national holiday in the month of June, but branches of banks will remain closed in different states on local holidays. Apart from this, every Sunday in the month of June and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month will be a bank holiday.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of banks related to the holidays for the month of June. According to RBI, banks will be closed for a total of 12 days in the month of June. In such a situation, if there is any important work related to the bank, then plan it in advance, so that you do not face any inconvenience.
List of Bank Holidays in June 2022 :-
02 June- Thursday is Maharana Pratap Jayanti (Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana) and Telangana Foundation Day (Telangana). Due to this all branches of public sector, private sector, foreign banks, cooperative banks and regional banks will remain closed.
Banks will remain closed in Punjab on Friday, June 03, on the occasion of martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Dev ji.
05 June - Bank will be closed on Sunday on the occasion of weekly holiday
June 11 - There will be a holiday in banks on the second Saturday of the week
June 12 - Sunday will be a holiday in banks due to a weekly holiday
June 14 - On Tuesday, on the occasion of Sant Kabir Jayanti, there will be a holiday in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and on the first king in the banks of Odisha.
June 15 - Banks will remain closed in Aizawl, Bhubaneshwar, Jammu and Srinagar on Wednesday, the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind and Raja Sankranti and in Mizoram on the occasion of YMA Day.
June 19- The bank will remain closed on Sunday on the occasion of weekly holiday.
June 25- There will be a holiday in the bank due to the fourth Saturday of the week
26 June - Bank will remain closed on Sunday on the occasion of weekly holiday
June 22 - There will be a bank holiday in Tripura on Wednesday on the occasion of Kharchi Puja.
