Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in the Yoga Day program in Mysore on Monday. During this, he said that yoga has the ability to bring world peace. Yoga gives peace not only to the individual but also to the communities and nations by liberating them from the spirit of conflict.



Prime Minister Modi addressed the Yoga Day program at Mysore Place on Tuesday. He explained the individual and collective benefits of yoga and underlined the importance of a lifestyle associated with yoga. The Prime Minister also explained India's global role through Yoga Day. He said that the eternal journey of Yoga will continue to give direction to the future. We will also accelerate a healthy and peaceful world through yoga with the spirit of Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niramaya.



During this, in his address given in Hindi and English, Prime Minister Modi gave a message to the country and the world to adopt a lifestyle related to yoga. The Prime Minister said- “Yoga does not only provide peace to the individual but also provides peace to the entire society. This brings peace to the country and peace to the entire universe." He said that yoga connects us with the universe and makes us internally aware.



The Prime Minister associated Yoga Day with the entire humanity. He said that this time the theme of International Yoga Day is 'Yoga for Humanity'. Today, a mutual basis for qualified global cooperation is becoming. Yoga is giving the belief of a healthy life to human beings.



He said that for the people of the world, today Yoga is becoming not just a part of life but a means of living. Meditation done for a short time in a stressful environment not only relieves us of stress but also increases our productivity. Yoga is not just an extra work but an integral part of life.



Modi said- 'We also have to know yoga. Yoga also has to be lived. Yoga has to be attained and yoga has to be adopted. During this, the Prime Minister described the yoga site Mysore as the center of spiritual energy. The Prime Minister linked the global acceptance of Yoga Day with India's 'nectar spirit'. He said that this 'nectar spirit' had given us the energy for the freedom struggle.

The Prime Minister specially mentioned the new experiment being adopted on Yoga Day. He said that this time 'Guardian Ring of Yoga' is being done at the international level. For this, with the sunrise in different countries of the world, people are doing yoga with the movement of the sun. The Prime Minister did yoga with everyone on Yoga Day today at Mysore Palace Ground. During this, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal were also present with him.

It is noteworthy that every year on 21st June, International Yoga Day is celebrated all over the world. This day is also important because it is the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere.
