'Will withdraw cases against farmers if SP is formed: Akhilesh'

Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has expressed apprehension of political conspiracy behind not having an alliance with the party of Bhim Army chief and Azad Samaj Party leader Chandrashekhar Azad.

Akhilesh said in a press conference at the party office on Monday that he had talked about giving two assembly seats to Chandrashekhar's party. He had agreed to this too, but after some time he did not know whom he spoke to on the phone and then refused to take two seats. Akhilesh said that SP has sacrificed a lot to take people along in its alliance. We are determined to defeat the BJP.

The SP president said that the BJP withdrew the agriculture laws because of the elections. He said that the false cases against the food donors during the farmers' agitation will be taken back if the SP government is formed. After the formation of the government, a relief of Rs 25 lakh will be given to the families of the farmers who were martyred during the agitation. Such atrocities would not have happened even under the British government, as it happened in the BJP government. In Jallianwala Bagh, the British fired on the chest and in Lakhimpur BJP leaders drove behind the farmers returning peacefully after the agitation. The SP chief said that the BJP had promised to double the income of farmers by 2022, but even in this it was not successful.

Akhilesh criticized the BJP and said that the BJP is more concerned about the people of his family. He said that the Samajwadi Party will make a written complaint to the Election Commission. He said that do not get stuck on the issues of BJP, take other resolutions. I have seen my election, how many notices were issued in Kannauj.
