Motor Vehicle Department Samba today conducted checking on NH 44 and challaned/compounded 22 No. Of vehicles under various provisions of MV Act.
ARTO Samba Rehana Tabassum informed that 15 vehicles out of 22 were found without Speed Limiting Device and overloading of passengers while conducting checking on National Highway.
"a fine of Rs.42000 was realized from violators on spot while warning were also issued" added ARTO.
