Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized three vehicles including an excavator in the jurisdictional areas of Police Stations Ghagwal and Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal and SHO PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional areas, have seized an excavator (JCB) & a dumper without registration Nos. and a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21F-1220 for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
