To nurture young minds and inculcate values of teamwork, discipline and leadership, Army Public School Damana, organized three days Pravesh Camp and Dwitiya Sopan Camp for Scouts & Guides of the School. The camp was an exciting and enriching experience designed to provide holistic development beyond academics. Under the supervision of Principal Mrs Pushpinder Kaur and Vice Principal Mrs. Shallu Kapoor, along with resource persons STC RP Kotwal, Joint STC (Guides) Smt. Manjeet Kour, Scouts Master Mr. Neeraj Sharma and Scouts Master Mr Madan Lal Sharma. The program provided a structured and enriching experience. Various activities aligned with the APRO 2 and 3 syllabus were conducted, enhancing participants' skills and knowledge. Scouts Master Mr. Sita Ram Sharma and Guides Captain Mrs Malkeet Kaur of APS DAMANA, ensured the smooth coordination and execution of all the activities. The camp included a variety of activities aimed at fostering creativity, responsibility, and camaraderie among the children.
The students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their skills and learning important life lessons through fun-filled activities. The camp not only provided an opportunity for experiential learning but also strengthened the bond among peers.
The Closing Ceremony of this significant event was honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Wing Commander (Retd.) M.M. Joshi, National Secretary, J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides. He inspired the students with his motivational words leaving them cheering with enthusiasm and excitement. This landmark event marks the beginning of an exciting new journey for Scouts and Guides.
