A civil engineer by profession Farman Ali, hailing from central kashmir's Budgam district is known for his collection of High Breed Horses in across the valley.
Safvi has been very fond of horses since he was Six and has always wanted to ride one.While talking to (VOK) he added, that he used to research about horses during his studies in Chandigarh and got more into it while staying there.
I inherited this passion from ancestors but always wanted to explore more than what i got from ancestors and more than they knew. I wanted to explore all the breeds across the country and so did i . Horses can be great racers if handled properly.Horse riding has been popular in Kashmir since ages but the popularity of riding was fading away with time. But now, many people getting involved in this activity again said Safvi.
He has become an inspiration, People look up to him as their role model in this field when it comes to horse riding. He is definitely winning hearts all over the valley with his passion and skills. He hosted the first ever horse show in Kashmir which was a hit show and also many people got interacted more towards horse riding. He is also considered as jockey in Kashmir to attract youth towards such sports.
