On the appointment of the new Chief Election Commissioner, CM Omar Abdullah says, "As LoP, he (Rahul Gandhi) has all the right to dissent. He is there to give a point of view. He is not there simply to agree with what the govt suggests or proposes. That is the right that any member of the Committee has, and Rahul Gandhi has exercised it. LoP has the right to show his disagreement."
