The first day of the year 2022 has started with good news. Public sector oil and gas company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has given a big gift to the people. IOC on Saturday cut the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 100. However, there is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder at the moment.
Businessmen running restaurants and hotels are expected to get a lot of relief due to the reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders. After IOC cut the price of commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 100, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder in Delhi has come down to 2001. Commercial LPG cylinder will be available in Kolkata in 2077, while in Mumbai the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has gone up to 1951.
There is no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder at present. The last time the prices of domestic LPG cylinders were increased was in October last year. The non-subsidized 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder costs Rs 899.50 in the capital Delhi and Mumbai. At the same time, domestic LPG gas cylinder is being available in Kolkata for Rs 926, while in Chennai, domestic LPG cylinder is available for Rs 915.50.
It is noteworthy that earlier in December last year, the public sector oil and gas company Indian Oil had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. In December, the price of commercial LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 100.
