A lecture on how to Join Armed Forces was organised by Indian Army at Govt Degree College Budhal on 21 Nov 2022 to encourage the youth to join the armed forces. The unit has been working with an aim to change the perception of the underprivileged population, which ultimately manifests in sustained peace and prosperity in the region. Lecture focused on motivating the students to plan their career in armed forces based on their respective inclination and interests and various opportunities available to join the armed forces.
The aim of conducting this lecture is to motivate the talented and potential students to join armed forces of our country. In due course, the students will also be briefed about the detailed selection procedure (including issue of UPSC Notification, Written Examination, SSB Interview, Medical Test and Final Merit). This is a unique step indeed by the Army towards winning hearts and minds of local people.
Local youth thanked and expressed their profound gratitude towards the Army for conducting the lecture and taking this noble initiative for students to motivate the talented and potential students to join Indian Armed Forces. This initiative will go a long way in overall development of the students. A total number of 93 (53 x Boys, 33 x Girls &
07 x Teacher/ staff) attending the said lecture.
