National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College Budhal, Rajouri today organized counselling session for enrolment of NSS volunteers under the patronage of Principal Dr. Mohd Mazammal Hussain.
70 students participated in the counselling session with enthusaism.
Dr. Ajaz Hussain Shah (NSS Programme Officer) informed the students about norms of the Scheme and laid stress upon the importance of the NSS activities in the academics. He wholeheartedly encouraged the new entrants for their active participation in the counselling session.
Senior NSS volunteers Raza Mohd Bilal, Israr Ahmed, Ozma Koser and Sadia Shawl also shared their experiences.
Appreciation certificates were distributed to NSS volunteers who have participated in different events organised by NSS Unit under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohtsav.
The proceedings of the event were conducted by Dr. Gowhar Ahmad Shapoo (Organizing Secretary) of the event.
Dr. Mohd Farooq (HoD Arabic), Dr. Muzafar Iqbal (HoD Geography), Dr. Adris Anjum (PTI), Mr. Talit Sarwer (HoD Environmental Sciences), Mr. Iftar Ahmed (HoD Political Science) and Miss. Preeti Sharma (HoD Education) were also present in the event and appreciated the students for their participation.
The event was concluded with the vote of thanks by Miss. Preeti Sharma (HoD Education).
