Police in Zakura area of Srinagar outskirts arrested a drug peddler on Sunday evening.
A police official said that at
Wanihama Hazratbal during Police Naka checking in presence of SHO PS Zakoora Inspector Jonesh Verma, one drug peddler from Central Kashmir's Budgam namely Irfan Rasool Bhat S/o Ghulam Rasool Bhat R/o Wathora, Chadoora Budgam was arrested along with Heroine.
A case under FIR No 90/22 under relevant sections of NDPS has been registered in PS Zakoora.
Police official said that the accused tried to fled away from checking spot but police chased him and caught near Batpora
