Public sector oil and gas marketing companies have increased the price of domestic cooking gas by Rs 50 and that of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 350.50. Domestic cooking gas price has been increased after about 8 months. Earlier on July 6, 2022, the prices of LPG cylinders were increased. The new rates have come into effect from Wednesday.



According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas in the capital Delhi has now increased to Rs 1103 per cylinder, which was earlier available at Rs 1053. Domestic LPG cylinder in Mumbai will now be available for Rs 1102.5 instead of Rs 1052.50. At the same time, in Kolkata also, the price of LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 1079 to Rs 1129, while in Chennai domestic cooking gas is being sold for Rs 1118.5 instead of Rs 1068.50.



Public sector oil and gas marketing companies have increased the price of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 350.50. After this increase, 19.2 kg commercial gas cylinder will now be available for Rs 2,119.50 in the country's capital Delhi. Its price has increased to Rs 2019.50 in Mumbai, Rs 2221.50 in Kolkata and Rs 2268 per cylinder in Chennai. This is the second increase in the price of commercial gas cylinders this year. Earlier on January 1, its prices were increased by Rs 25 per cylinder.
