The price of crude oil continues to fluctuate in the international market. Crude oil is close to $ 94 a barrel amid OPEC plus countries' crude production cuts and lack of demand. However, public sector oil and gas marketing companies have not made any change in the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market.

According to the Indian Oil website, petrol remained at Rs 96.72 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.62 in Delhi on Saturday as well. The price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 106.31 and diesel is Rs 94.27 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per litre. Similarly, petrol is selling at Rs 102.63 and diesel at Rs 94.24 per liter in Chennai.

It is noteworthy that in the international market, Brent crude is up 121 percent, or $ 112 per barrel, at $ 93.50 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also rose 0.64 per cent, or $ 0.54, to $ 85.05 per barrel. Crude oil, which hit a high of $139 a barrel in March after the Russo-Ukraine war, had recently slipped below $85 a barrel.
