Cases of corona infection are also increasing rapidly in the Union Territory of Ladakh. During the last 24 hours, 124 new cases of corona have been reported across the state. With this, the number of active cases in the state has now increased to 598, out of which 552 are in Leh and 46 active patients are in Kargil district. On Friday, the Health Department said that out of 124 cases in Ladakh, 104 have been registered in Leh and 20 in Kargil. So far 222 people have died due to corona in the state. So far 22 thousand 973 people have been corona infected in the state, out of which 22 thousand 153 patients have been cured.
Let us inform that in view of the increasing infection of Corona, schools, colleges, clubs and gyms etc. have been closed in Ladakh at this time and hotels, restaurants are opening with 25 percent capacity. In view of the increasing infection, a massive testing and vaccination campaign is going on in the state.
