The Border Security Force (BSF) has retaliated strongly by stopping the move to send drugs and weapons through drones from across the border on the India-Pakistan border. BSF personnel shot down two drones of Pakistan near the international border in Amritsar sector on Friday night. One drone was detonated at Dhariwal in Amritsar sector and the other at Ratna Khurd area.

According to BSF, a drone was hovering near village Dhariwal on Friday night. Targeted firing was done on him. The sound of the drone stopped amid the firing. After this, on searching, this drone was found at some distance. Apart from this, movement of drone was seen in village Ratna Khurd at 9:55 pm. The sound of the drone stopped when the soldiers fired. It was found fallen in the fields. On being searched, two kg of heroin was found. It was packed in a yellow packet and tied under the drone. The cost of this heroin is around Rs 15 crore.
