Indian Army has always been at the forefront in providing selfless assistance to local AWAM. On 24 Jun 2022, vehicle recovery team of Samote Army successfully recovered a Alto Car, regd No JK 11E 2266, in the area of Morha B Karag (Kotranka) in Rajouri District which had met with an accident and fell into a 90 mtr deep gorge. It was very difficult for the locals to recover the car due to steep gradient. The owner of car is Mushtaq Ahmed S/o Rahim Baksh, R/o Larkuti.
The locals conveyed their sincere gratitude and lauded the efforts of Indian Army for providing recovery assistance to the Serviceman. The timely assistance provided by the Army shows their true dedication towards the AWAM and as an organization always standing with their veterans.
