The Apricot Blossom Festival 2025 commenced in Kargil district of UT Ladakh at Sanjak where people gathered to celebrate the beauty of spring.
The Apricot Blossom Festival 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Skyurbuchan village. The Festival was organized by Dept of Tourism, Leh in collab with LAHDC Leh and villagers of Skyurbuchan. Hon'ble EC LAHDC Leh Sh Ghulam Mehdi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
On the auspicious occasion of 'Apricot Blossom Festival' at Skarbuchan on 10 April 2025, Late Sepoy Tsering Dorjay of Skarbuchan Village, who sacrificed his life during the Kargil War in Batalik was remembered and his son Mr Stanzin Punchok was honoured.
Community members who actively supported the Nation's cause during the Kargil war were also felicitated by Forever in Operations Division.
The community members pledged to work together for the betterment of society and the Nation.
